Which Kerala itinerary should you pick?
Essentials · 4 nights
₹21,900 per person
Kochi (Cochin) (1N) → Munnar Hill Station (2N) → Alleppey Backwaters (1N)
Fort Kochi, tea country and one night on a houseboat.
Classic · 6 nights
₹36,600 per person
Kochi (Cochin) (1N) → Munnar Hill Station (2N) → Thekkady & Periyar (1N) → Alleppey Backwaters (1N) → Kovalam & Varkala (1N)
Adds Periyar’s spice hills and the Arabian Sea.
Grand · 8 nights
₹52,900 per person
Kochi (Cochin) (1N) → Munnar Hill Station (3N) → Thekkady & Periyar (1N) → Alleppey Backwaters (1N) → Kovalam & Varkala (2N)
The full backwater-to-beach run at an easy pace.
The honest answer for most people is the middle one. The entry itinerary at ₹21,900 covers Kerala properly but leaves little room in the day, and the Grand adds 4 more nights for ₹31,000 more — which is the difference between seeing Kovalam & Varkala (2N) and driving past it. If you are flying in from far and this is your only trip this year, take the longer one.

How we build a Kerala trip
The Classic runs Kochi (Cochin) (1N) → Munnar Hill Station (2N) → Thekkady & Periyar (1N) → Alleppey Backwaters (1N) → Kovalam & Varkala (1N) in that order because that is the order the road takes. Reversing it looks the same on a brochure and costs you the better part of a day.
- Nights allocated by what a place is worth. Kochi (Cochin) (1N) gets two, not because it balances the table but because that is what it takes.
- One planner start to finish, on WhatsApp, before and during the trip. Not a ticket number.
- Honest exclusions. What isn't included is printed as clearly as what is, on this page, before you enquire.
- Nothing to pay for a quote. The full day-by-day and live prices for your dates, in writing, then you decide.
Kerala honeymoon packages
A honeymoon in Kerala is not the tour with better pillows. What changes is the pace, the order, and who else is in the car.
- The route runs the other way round. Most Kerala itineraries open in Kochi (Cochin) (1N). For two people we would rather end there and start somewhere quieter, so the first morning is not spent in traffic.
- Longer in one place. Kovalam & Varkala (2N) is where couples want the extra night, and it is the one we add first when there is room in the budget.
- Private transfers throughout. No shared coach, no waiting for eleven other people at every stop.
- Arranged in writing. The cake, the flowers, the table away from the buffet — confirmed with the property before you arrive at no markup, rather than asked for at check-in.
The Kerala — Grand is the one we most often build for couples: 8 nights across 5 stops. Two people travelling together comes to about ₹1,11,090 for the pair including GST.
Family tour packages to Kerala
What ruins a family trip is rarely the destination. It is the drive between Kochi (Cochin) (1N) and Munnar Hill Station (2N) at the wrong time of day with a nine-year-old in the back.
- We move the long legs to the morning. On the Kerala route that usually means leaving Kochi (Cochin) (1N) early and arriving before lunch, rather than after dark.
- Children 5–11 are charged at 75% of the adult fare, under-fives at 35%. Stated here, not discovered at the end.
- Rooms that actually fit. We book what the family needs and say plainly when a property cannot take an extra bed, instead of letting you find out at reception.
- Meal preferences in writing — vegetarian, Jain and no-spice go to the hotel before arrival.
Two adults and two children aged 5 to 11 on the 4-night Essentials comes to roughly ₹77,175 all in, including 5% GST. Tell us the ages when you enquire and we adjust the route rather than the price.
Cheap Kerala packages — and what "cheap" actually buys
The lowest honest price we can build a Kerala trip for is ₹21,000 per person: the 4-night Essentials, Kochi (Cochin) (1N) → Munnar Hill Station (2N) → Alleppey Backwaters (1N), twin sharing. Here is what keeps it there.
- Clean 3-star stays in Kochi (Cochin) (1N) itself, rather than a smarter property half an hour out. Location saves more than a star rating does, especially where the evenings matter.
- Shared or scheduled transfers on the legs where they make no real difference.
- Dates either side of the peak. September to March is when everybody goes to Kerala, and it is when it costs most. Shifting by two or three weeks is usually a bigger saving than any negotiation.
- Nothing removed quietly. Everything in the inclusions above is still included at this price.
If your budget is fixed, say the number when you enquire. It is far more useful than a wish list, and we will tell you plainly if Kerala does not work at it rather than quietly thinning the trip.
Best time to visit Kerala
Kerala packages — common questions
How much does a Kerala trip cost?
From ₹21,000 per person on twin sharing for the 4-night Essentials itinerary, up to ₹52,900 for the 8-night Grand. 5% GST is added at booking and shown separately.
What is the cheapest Kerala package you offer?
Kerala — Essentials at ₹21,900 per person for 4 nights, on twin sharing. That includes stays, daily breakfast, transfers and sightseeing coordination.
How many days do I need in Kerala?
4 nights covers the essentials properly. 8 nights is the version we'd choose ourselves — it adds 4 more nights and stops the trip becoming a series of drives.
When is the best time to visit Kerala?
September to March. Clear skies and comfortable hill weather. June to September is the monsoon — beautiful and cheap, but boats and hill roads are affected.
What does a family of four pay?
Around ₹77,175 in total for two adults and two children aged 5 to 11, including GST. Children 5–11 are charged at 75% of the adult fare and under-fives at 35%.
Is Kerala suitable for young children?
We plan it so it is — shorter driving days, hotels with room for an extra bed, and meal preferences confirmed in writing. Tell us the ages when you enquire and we adjust the route rather than the price.
Do you plan Kerala honeymoons?
Yes, and they are built differently: private transfers throughout, rooms chosen for two, and a slower route. Room decoration or a private dinner is arranged at no markup on what the property charges — tell us at booking rather than on arrival.
Are there hidden charges?
No. Flights, lunches, personal expenses and travel insurance sit outside every package and are listed on this page. Everything else quoted is what you pay, plus 5% GST shown separately at booking.
What is included in the price?
Hotels on twin sharing, Daily breakfast, Private car with driver for the whole route, All sightseeing and entry coordination and more. The full list, and everything that is not included, is set out above.
How do I book, and what do I pay now?
Nothing on the website. Fill in the short form, or message us on WhatsApp, and we come back with live prices for your dates and a day-by-day plan. You only pay once you have that in writing and are happy with it. Planning costs nothing.
